Brian Humphries Appointed Operating Advisor to CD&R Funds

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (“CD&R” or the “Firm”) today announced the appointment of Brian Humphries as an Operating Advisor to CD&R funds. Brian has more than 30 years of experience within the global technology services sector that he will use to support the Firm in identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities, as well as supporting the Firm’s existing technology portfolio in Europe.

Brian was most recently the CEO of Cognizant Technology Solutions, the global technology services and digital transformation leader. From 2021 to 2023 he grew the company’s cloud and digital enterprises while also driving significant revenue growth across the business. Prior to this Brian was CEO of Vodafone Business where he was responsible for its worldwide enterprise business which included Cloud-Hosting, Carrier Services and Security Solutions. The division accounted for nearly a third of Vodafone Group’s service revenue with approximately €12 billion in global sales. Brian has also held senior roles at Dell EMC, where he was chief operating officer of its infrastructure solutions group, Hewlett Packard and Compaq Computer.

Brian was born in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Ulster.
