Gordon brings nearly 40 years of experience in financial services and is the former Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co. He works with CD&R’s financial services team to help source new investments and advise the funds’ business. For much of his tenure at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Gordon acted as CEO of Consumer & Community Banking, a provider of banking, credit cards, auto finance, payments, mortgages, and investment advice. Previously, Gordon spent more than 25 years at American Express, where he led and managed several businesses, including the Global Commercial Card Business. He serves on the Board of Directors of Choice Hotels International. Gordon holds an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
