Keith served as the vice chairman of Tenet Healthcare Corporation from 2013 until 2019. He joined Tenet from Vanguard Health Systems, where he also served as vice chairman. Prior to joining Vanguard, he served as the chairman and chief executive officer of Mariner Post-Acute Network, a post-acute services group that operated nursing homes, long-term acute-care hospitals, sub-acute assisted living facilities, and institutional pharmacies and provided therapy and rehabilitation staffing services. In addition, Keith served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer for OrNda HealthCorp, a predecessor of Tenet. Prior to joining OrNda, he was a consultant to healthcare organizations, including as a partner in Ernst & Young’s healthcare consulting practice. He is a member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of CPAs, and served three terms as the chairman of the Federation of American Hospitals (FAH), the industry association that represents investor-owned hospitals. Keith is a CPA and has a B.S. in business administration from the University of Florida.
