Kevin Conway

Kevin J. Conway joined CD&R in 1994 and serves as Vice Chairman. He is on the Investment, Operating Review, and Compliance Committees. Kevin previously served as managing partner of the Firm from 2004 to 2015, as a member of the management committee, and as the founding Chair of the Investment Committee, a position he held from 2000 to 2023. At the firm, he has been involved with a wide variety of firm processes and initiatives, including new investments, exits, fundraising, and recruitment and talent development. Before joining CD&R, Kevin worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was elected a partner after holding several senior leadership roles, including chief of staff of the investment banking division and serving as a senior member of the mergers and acquisitions department. He serves on the board of trustees of the Carnegie Corporation of New York and the New York Catholic Foundation for the Archdiocese of New York, as well as several other boards and charitable and civic roles. Kevin has a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College.
