Michael joined CD&R in 2025 to provide strategic risk management guidance at both the portfolio and enterprise level. He has more than two decades of experience in identifying, addressing and managing risks. Most recently, Michael was Vice President of Risk Management and Assistant Secretary at Lockheed Martin Corporation. Prior to that, he worked as an in-house attorney and then Director of Risk Management at Textron Inc., a multi-national aviation and aerospace component manufacturing company. Michael has also held roles at Dell/EMC Corporation and Jabil Circuit, Inc. He started his career with the United States Army and holds a B.A. in History from Norwich University, a J.D. from Boston University and an A.L.M. in Government from Harvard University.
